Premier 8/30 and 8/31Trips
#1
Hey there guys,

8/30 (Monday)

Had a good day on the Premier with Danny at the helm, Robby decking and Mike in the galley. Good size anchovies and sardines but the bite was anchovies and iron for the 3-b's. (bass, barracuda, and bonito) Lite load today

Early morning saw no current but cuda bite wasn't bad until........ the dogs arrived. Plauged all day by the pesky creatures no matter where we moved.

Late morning saw the current start to move at the shoe so we started to do pretty good until about 3pm when we headed for home.

It took me 40 to 50 calicos to get a limit of legals live lining anchovies with a 1/4oz sliding egg sinker and 4 foot of 20# flurocarbon.

Barries were pretty small compared to recent monsters.

8/31 (Tuesday)
Went to Farnsworth Bank for the big yellows. Quite a few boated in the #20 to #30 class. Iron and sardines. barracuda, bass, and lingcod around too. If you go, you'll need a #40 or #50 setup.
