FISHING CONDITIONS - The river has been at 800 cfs and is stable for the time being. The fishing is still good to excellent and the hatches are good. Look for the midges( mono midge, big mac) hatching everywhere to be the main diet. A few baetis are hatching, but with the higher flows the most active fish are in slow water and eating midges. Dry fly fishing has been pretty good, especially with midge clusters.
14-DAY FORECAST - Summer is here, and we are getting into our thunderstorm season. Bring your rainjacket. The fishing is always good, but right now the fishing is excellent. We are seeing a real good number of big fish and the sight fishing is getting better! A 30" 12 lbs rainbow was caught recently on Tav's Big Mac!
