BATAAN LAKE The lake is being drained to accommodate construction on the dam. Catfish stocking scheduled for here will be placed in Carlsbad Municipal Lake.
BONITO LAKE Trout fishing continued fair for anglers using spinners, wooly buggers, salmon eggs, power bait and prop flies.
BOSQUE REDONDO This water was recently stocked with good size catfish but we had no reports from anglers.
BRANTLEY More good reports came in this past week from anglers fishing for catfish. They were fishing the Rocky Bay primitive camping area and caught several fish. Best baits were chicken liver and worms. Some small black bass are still being taken by anglers fishing the west side boat dock area. There
were no reports on other species.
