Also, do any of you have some great snowshoeing destinations that are close to the Denver metro area?

I frequent Mt. Evans, Golden Gate State Park and Henderson Mine. Any others out there?

I dont normally snowshoe just to snowshoe,instead I use them to get into lakes to ice fish or to get into lakes very early in the spring.It sure beats post-holing through the drifts!
