Flying mako watchout!
#1
There was a story on the news tuesday 9/28 that a mako shark jumped into a boat on the east coast! Man that would be something scary to see!Can you imagine seeing all those teeth coming at ya![shocked] I have seen cudas, kingfish and even dolphin(dorado or mahi mahi) skyrocket out of the water but never heard of a shark!

Next thing you know, boat owners will be required to have safety netting on their boats[crazy]. Sheeeesh. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the waters again.[pirate]

I have seen them jump as high as 10 feet out of the water for sea gulls.

Oh yeah! Mako will jump like a marlin. Threshers, too. I'll bet that boat got absolutely trashed. Mako will make a mess if brought into a cockpit after a hook & line battle, I can only imagine what it'd be like nice & fresh.[shocked]

With any shark not to be released it's best to shoot 'em or drag backwards behind the boat. Just make sure they're dead. REALLY sure!
