[cool]We fished 11 miles west of Barefoot Beach last Monday with the Celeste Enfante party, using shrimp and shiners. We caught fourteen mangrove snapper to 13 inches, a 19 inch hogfish, and Spanish mackerel to 25 inches. We released grunts, triggerfish and porkfish. Fishing Sunday with the Steve Gasper party in central Estero Bay, we caught mangrove snapper, while the snook remained elusive on their first day in season.
