Remote troll
#1
I have a 1990 SKEETER bass boat. I would like to put a remote troll on the back but I'm not really sure how to go about doing it. Dose anybody have a Skeeter with a trolling motor bracket on the back of there boat. If you do how did you mount it and what type of bracket did you use and did you have to have it custom made. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

You know, there are several models of the remote troll. You can mount it directly to the transom, you can mount it to the top of a platform, and you can mount one to a swim platform. If you can attach a swim platform, you are set. If you cant, you might be able to attach the top mount to the top of the rear platform. Basically all you need to find out is, will the fiberglass support the weight of an engine. If you can get a swim platform attached directly to the transom, that should do. If not, maybee a small bracket under the fiberglass would be enogh to support the bolts and keep them from pulling through.
