Headed for Japan
#1
[black]Business calls and I'm headed for Japan for a few weeks. I'm going to a little island, Tanegashima, off the southern tip of Japan and will be working at the Japanese Space Launch Facility. This is my first trip to the Orient and I'm pretty excited to see another part of the world when not working. I'll also get a chance to spend a day or two in Tokyo. If any problems arise, TD and Predator will gladly take care of business.[/black]

Have a safe trip. I just returned from western China yesterday. It is a completely different world. Lots of new stuff to learn and to see. The hardest part for me is to adjust to the time difference. Some interesting food too. Most of it is very good. Enjoy the trip and fly safe.

Hey, Mr. Moderator, have a great time over there, and if you have trouble with the altitude, chew gum, it helps to relieve the pressure. it helps. Maybe you can get some fishing in while you are there.[Smile] Thanks for all your past advice and conversation.

BLM,
I have been all over the orient and the countryside in japan is some of the prettiest and peaceful places I have ever seen. The beaches are beautiful and so are the golden dragons[Smile]. It was a very relaxing place for me.

The people are very hospitable too. They will really appreciate it if you learn a few words and some of their customs. Excellant food too, especially if you like seafood.

The japanese people will take good care of you, enjoy your visit and have fun!
