Went out thru Manasquan inlet and had to swerve to go around a flock of diving
gulls. My daughter, her boy friend & I put the lines out and started to pull in
3-5 lb blues.
The most hookups were on ava 47's fished on 100' of monel line with an 8oz
trolling weight[green was the best]. Lots of fun with 3 lines getting fish at the same
time. A red/white feather also did OK. Ran the boat at 1200 RPM.
This might be the start of a great fall season.
