Any safe ice on Rockport yet?

Hey Happy Holidays to everyone! Hope your Christmas is full of good cheer! Just wondering like alot of anglers on the status of
Rockport? Hoping to take my family there either next Sat. Jan 1,or
the following. I'm not going to rush going there until it's perfectly safe.

No ice yet next week maybe two weeks most likely.

Take the family to Causey, the Splake are a blast.

[] I will be passing by Rockport tomorrow on my way to Oakley.I will see if the cold weather has helped us out any. As of last weekend the lake was entirely ice free[]. I will post a new message with my findings.

Rockport is a lot of fun, and we too are anxious to get some kids up there to catch some perch, and a few of those rainbows that come in to add to the mix.

Drove by friday morning on the way to the berry. No ice.

Drove by yesterday about 4:00 PM on the way to the aunts house for Christmas and there is still no ice and the air temp was 39. My guess is that it will be at least a few more weeks before there is safe ice.
