Deer tags gone awry
#1
Well next year in North Dakota it will cost you $35 for a buck tag which is up from $20 this year, and the doe tags this year cost $20, will be lowered to $10 next year. Their thinking behind this is to increase doe tag sales and to decrease buck tag sales. Basically this will try to harvest more does to better control the deer population. Personally I feel this is a joke. Just another step for North Dakotas hunting becoming more commercialized. I am not for guides, commericalism, or fee hunting. These things only take one of the greatest sports (next to fishing) and ruins it. I just think our state legislators need to pull their heads out of their you know whats and start to change things for the good, instead of looking out for their pocket books.
