Bear Lake Fishing
#1
[Tongue] Well, we had a pretty good time at Bear Lake. Landed two 7-8 pounders. Had three more on that got off. My buddy had one on for 20 minutes and never got it above 25 feet. It busted the line.

The weater was mostly overcast and pretty windy but we made the best of it. By the way, we launched at the main marina with no problems at all. On the way home, drove through a blizzard on top through Logan Canyon. Great company and so-so fishn'. Couldn't ask for a whole lot more.

Hookem' Pretty!!!

Sounds like you did great! Any chance of you sharing where and how you fished?

Great towing boats in the snow isn't it! Nothing like filling your boat with gritty, dirty, sandy snow, not to mention the entire hull and trailer packed with the stuff! That's one of the negatives about cold weather fishing with boats. A definite reason to buy a trailerable cover.

Sounds like you had a good time. The fish, at least, gave you the time of day. No cutts? Are they close to being done dredging in the state marina? How deep is the channel opening now? When we were up there it was about 4-5 ft before the dredging. Is all the road construction completed at the front of the marina? How about Logan Canyon's project?
