Crabbing outlook

Its been my experiance that after a hard winter the crabbing is way off. Now being March 20 and we can finelly see grass again, doesn't seem good for the up coming season again.[:/] Boy I hope I'm wrong.

the crabbing here in NJ has been awful the last few tears too it used to be you could go to a dock toss in your traps and in a few hours leave with a bushel of crabs now if you get a dozen in a day you are doin good and they are small barely keepers the commercial crabbers are wiping them out which is also keeping certain fish away that feed on these same crabs we are not allowed to keep female crabs here but the commercials are it used to be a fun day with the kids but not if they aren't getting anything to brag about
