Lee

Here are a few leads I have come up with so far. The link immediately below has cork grips that are pre-formed it seems and may not suit your needs.

http://www.bad-fish.com/stuffbf.htm

Not sure either way if they have rings from what I read. Here are two other links. One is for E-Bay and the other is a supplier.

http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&query=cork+rings+rod

The other is http://http//www.mudhole.com -- Then click on Specials, located on the right side of the screen. (note: they also carry high quality cork rings).

The last two links were kindly supplied to me by a fly angler off a non BFT board.

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve - The MJB
BFT Lures/Baits
http://www.demonjigs.com

Thanks Billy,
Was the eBay cork from Fishinnut? My wife got me some cork rings from him awhile back and it was pretty good.

I just finished a grip from some cork I gor from one of the suppliers online and after turning the grip and filling the pits (craters) I ended up with more filler than cork.

Lee
Lee's Custom Rods
"Quality is the product of crasftsmanship"
