Spinney may open this Saturday, April 16, according to Charlie Meyers' column in today's Denver Post:

"A steady deterioration of ice at Spinney Mountain Reservoir caused Colorado State Parks officials to project a Saturday opening for the popular fishing spot.
The Saturday date is far from firm, but Monday's 46 degree temperature with a moderate wind portends a continuing thawing process."

On K-Fan Saturday they had the park ranger on the show and he said that it is opening on Wednesday. They will allow people to line up starting at 7:30 on Tuesday night. I am going to try to hit it on Thursday.
