OSHKOSH, WI—Despite competing against a full field of 220 teams, many of whom consider Lake Winnebago their home water, Steve Stein and Kenny Ludwig of Leavenworth, Kansas captured first place in the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit tournament on Wisconsin’s Lake Winnebago. The team weighed in two five-fish limits totaling 26.57 pounds to cash the $28,512 prize. This was the team’s first MWC circuit victory.
“It has been several years since we’ve pulled out a win,” Ludwig says. “It feels good to get another one again—and especially good to get an MWC circuit win.”
