Hi, My wife has two of her fathers reels and we were looking for some info on them (how old, [#0000ff][size 1]maintenance[/size][/#0000ff], worth, etc.). One is a Spinmaster Diamond II Ball Bearing spinning reel. It's green in color and has a metal housing. The other is a Daiwa 1560X Graphite Rear Drag spinning reel. It is black with plastic(?) housing. I removed the spools, dusted them off, and applied a very light coat of reel oil to kind of shine them up. Both have been used and seem to work fine. My son especially likes the Daiwa which works because I like the Spinmaster for retro reasons. It was nice to bring these back to life and have our son use his Papa's fishing gear. Anyway, thanks in advance for the info.
