[cool] We took out the Leo serkowski party out for a day of fishing out of Pt. Jefferson LI,NY. We had great weather. We ran around to smithtown bay and found pods of peanut bunker being attacked by blues. They had a blast catching these fish on light tackle and trolling umbrella rigs. The fish ranged in size from 2-5 lbs. they kept a few for the table and released the rest. We then switched over to Fluke fishing. we ran to the river and golf course area. No drift or wind so we only could manage shorts which were quickly released. We then ran to the middle grounds area and chunked up a 26lb. bass. Lost a few run off's and had a few schoolies released.
p.s. We have a few openings for an open Boat SHARK/TUNA combo trip next saturday out of moriches if anyone is interested in joining us.
