Salmon Flies
#1
well the salmon runs are about to begin soon.

last year I saw a number of anglers going after salmon with fly rods.

I know they are using #10 blood hooks, what I dont know is what they are tying on them. I caught an alaskan king last fall with a #10 hook lodged between his teeth but the fly was torn beyond recognition.

any one here going after those bruits?

OOOOH that one looks good,

what size hook are we looking at here?

Yep it is pretty hard to beat fresh salmon.... this one was turned in to salmon patties..... enuff patties to get me though the whole winter....[Tongue]

served with sauted onions home grown brachollie bake taters and sour cream, your choice weather to put the cream on the patties or the tater[Tongue]
