Hello Dave,
I'm sure going to try. I leave Friday for Colorado's Saturday opener.

I'm pretty excited, we scouted last week and things look pretty good were we'll be, Del Norte Peak.

Are you going to get some hunting in this year?

I put in for the michigan elk permit but was not suscessfull in the draw.

I will be spending a little time white tail hunting and posibly a little time squril & rabbit hunting while wating for the water to stiffen up.

good luck... elk are not the easyest critter to hunt. exiclent hearing and smelling sences more than makes up for thier slow movements... not to mention the realy big ones are smarter than white tail trophies.
