Captain Dave Hanson of Fishbuster Charters fished the reefs off Bonita Beach and Wiggins Pass, north Naples, this week with live shrimp and crabs. The Ron Sturdivant party caught 16 Spanish mackerel to 26 inches, big grunts, porkfish, catch-and-release gag grouper, and a 25 inch permit. Andrew Combes caught two nice permit at 34 1/2 and 38 inches, and lost three others in 33 feet off Wiggins. The Gregg Bedell party caught and released an 80 lb. tarpon and a 3 1/2 foot sharp-nosed shark, and also landed a 40 inch, 26.5 lb. permit.
