Worst Christmas Present Ever

Christmas day, I got a phone call from a family member and I was told that one of my fishing buddies (who gave up fishing for drugs and alcahol) has been given a year of jail time. If he is lucky he will see christmas lights next year.

his offence is to children, I sincerialy hope he can get the help he needs behind bars...

yeah i hear ya dave, i had an alcaholic husband mean abusive mentally emotionally physically, so i hit him with a baseball bat when he started after my boy and the next day we were GONE! thank god it wasn,t that way. it is the worst thing that can happen to a child or a woman. lets just pray he does get the help he needs before he learns the hard way / i,m glad to see you put that on the net. it will help those in trouble or near to it.

i don,t mean to feel heartless dave i just know what your goin thru, the helplessness feelin that ya can,t help. and ya can,t change them. been there done tha, the only one can help him is him IF he wants it. i hope he does, for himself nad for you bein his friend. it,s a tough situation. god be with ya.
