A friend and i went to the docks in provo yesterday, and between

the two of us we caught around 40 white bass. We both used green jigs.

When we got home about twenty of them had worms in them, does anyone

know what this means and are they safe to eat.

did you get a pic of the worm?

there are several types of worms that fish can get. I know that a couple of them are safe to eat and the others I dont know about.

I still cut that part with the worm in it out when I filett and skin the fish and make sure the fish is cooked well done. (I never was a big fan of sueshie)

it is real hard to say weather a worm in a fish is harmful when you cant see what type it is.

if you still have one of the worms you can take to your local county extention for identification.
