[black]Anual BigfishTackle Ice Fishing Photo Contest[/black]

Runs December 15th 2005 to March 15 2006

so get your measuing devices ready for the trips. mount them to your bucket sidways or on the side of your sled, tape measures are good, sticker measuring tapes are good. I will except most any thing that I can see the numbers on.

I need two photos for each entry. one with the measuring device posted on this board and the other of you holding your species posted posted on the wall of fame. If you can get it all in one picture I will except it but it will need to be posted both here and on the wall of fame. (you, your fish, your measuring device, Bigfishtackle logo, snow and or ice)

I want a link from your entry on this board to your entry on the wall of fame, if you have problems or dont know how to do it just drop me a line and I will edit it in for you....
***** one extra point for getting your hole in the ice on the photo with your fish measurment per species.

Bigfishtackle logo must be in one of the two photos. I will except hand drawn logos, painted on the side of your sled logos, photo coppied logos color or black and white, any of our manufactured logo items (patches hats shirts stickers hook safes ect....) If all you have is a hand made Logo, Make an entry with our hand made logo and I will mail you a Bigfishtackle logo Bumper sticker.

Up grades of the same species will be excepted and I will select the best one of your same species to enter. I will up grade your score if you get a better entry later in the season.

Ok here it is,
7 species (anglers choice)
trout is not a species - spotted trout is, tiger trout is another one ect.... Pike or gar pike is not a species, long nose gar pike is, northern pike is another one ect... If you have a problem identifying your species we do our best to identify it for you...
Good Luck and keep your cleetes on the ice

Apparently there's been zero entries so far. I just might win this thing if I can remember to measure and get pics taken!

Sorry there's no ice or snow in this pic. We had windchills of -25 degrees at the time. I was in a permanent with two others. Didn't want to take the time to put my jacket on, step outside, wait for the pic to be taken, then go back inside to release the fish. I feel sorry for the old man behind me holding his head. He kept hitting his head on the bottom edge of the bunk. He had just hit his head again when the pic was taken.

What we have here is:

Fish Species: Yellow Perch
Length: 6 inches
Lake caught on: Pokegama
Nearest city/town: Pine City, MN
Host of the day: Pokegama Mid-Stop LLC

[cool] Sorry to hear about your ice woos, we have about 2 1/2 months of ice left. The fishing is starting to pick up and the caribou are heading north.
Just thought I'd send in a pic of the young guy with a couple little lakers.
On the bright side you will be on the water long before the ice goes out up here in Yellowknife.
