Reaction Innovations' Swamp Donkeys may be the best designed hollow bodied frog bait on the market today. Countless hours have been spent on design and testing of the Swamp Donkey and EVERY aspect of the bait has been reviewed and tested.
This relentless attention to detail has resulted in an all new double hook made exclusively for Reaction Innovations. This hook features turned-up points for more positive hookups and for keeping the points from digging into the body of the bait (a real problem with other baits), greatly increasing your hookup ratio. The body design of the Swamp Donkey is longer and narrower than other similar baits, giving a better walking action in open water and increasing the ability to come across heavy cover. The nose of the Donkey will not slip back down the hook like other hollow bodied baits, and the material is very soft but extremely durable, so they will rarely tear. We used this bait against two of our favorite frogs, the Snag Proof Tournament frog, and the Dean Rojas "Spro" frog. While we can't say yet if it actually outproduced these frogs in the number of bass or size of the bass, we can say that it worked better in open water than the Snag Proof frogs, and it was very durable, holding up without tears even after several large bass were taken from heavy cover.

We worked these baits in lakes and rivers, and the NEW body shape of the Swamp Donkey resulted in a design that can be worked effectively on any type of heavy cover. The Swamp Donkey's nose will never slip back like other frog-type baits and the material, yet very soft, is extremely durable and will rarely tear.
Like all Reaction Innovations products, no detail was left out. The end result is the best frog available for open water or heavy cover fishing.
