Waterfowl season locally has been fair at best. Warmer weather has kept many birds up North with the migrants staying well to the South. Deer season has been another great year however. Many large, mature bucks have been reported. Illness prevented me from going after opening day. Fortunately I made the most of it and took a nice 8 point. I've heard of a number of Boone and Crockett bucks being taken this year. Most are from middle and west TN. We close on January 10th. Good hunting, Ghost
