This week is the Beaver tail aka Sweet beaver: Having seen these plastic baits last winter on another site, I couldn't get any feed back on their use or if they even would produce. So I had to buy some. Took them to VT last spring and caught alot of bass with these babys useing a #5 hook and just letting it sit on the bottom. Bass seem to swim by and pick them up. Also worked, working them over the tops of weeds. Bought a mold and started to make them in different colors. Black worked well, but add some red flake and they worked better. Pumpkin seed worked as well. They seemed to work better in the spring than any other time. Still a good plastic to have if your bass fishing.
