What a difference from the last time out! I was at the marina on the 2nd and it looked like a gypsie camp on the ice. Today I saw a few random snowmobiles headed off to parts unknown and a couple of guys a little ways off. Other than that, I dang near had the place to myself. Sun was out part of the day and the wind wasn't too bad. Slow fishing early on with one 12 inch dink landed and returned to grow. About noon-thirty I found 'the place' and just about had a twenty fish day in the next two hours. 16 slot cutts and 1 rainbow all released with loving care. Had a couple get off at the hole and missed a couple more. White TJ's and poopin' mealie was the ticket. Headed out of Dodge just as the sun said goodbye and the wind started up. Ice was a little noisy today, but it's a good 14" including the frozen slush layer.
