headed to worcester sporting show today with my list of supplies that i needed .we got their just after the doors, and didn't have to stand in line.as we first started out,i noticed that they had change the layout for the booths, something the haven't done in 5 years,i also noticed that the boothes were quite abit smaller than they use to be,and also alot of open spaces.that could have been from this nor easter that is forcasted for this weekend.there was also more charters, and guild serverces than in the past.one nice thing is i was able to met,and talk to kevin vandam,he is a real nice down to earth guy.someone you wouldn't mind to fish with for fun.all in all i was dissapointed in the show, hope next year will be back to the quallity it use to be

That was cool to talk to Vandam. To bad the show wasn't full, gives a bad impression. Thanks for the report Tom.

Myself and Bobct went up to the show saturday and once again it wasn't a disappointment. Chocked full of venders and we caught a seminar on tube and worming. Really good stuff. Newest tip was to skin your eels and roll the skin in salt. they will stay good for years ,and he even slid them over his lures and reattached the hooks for casting situations. He fished the same waters we did for fluke last summer. I didn't have to talk Bob into buying a rig. Caught up with t-mantackle at the show and he got one. Picked up a couple of plastic eels to try this year as well. Now where the #@%# is my boat. I'm getting cranky.[Wink]
