Jordanelle Perch Alert!
#1
I caught the last perch in Jordanelle today!!!

Fished Rockcliff with Papabaru. Fished from about 9:30 to 3:30. I got 26 trout (10-14 inch) to the ice and one perch(9"). I used a jighead tipped with mealworms and nightcrawlers. Papabaru caught a few more than I did. Plenty of ice. Lots and lots of watery slush. Makes walking very far somewhat difficult. Weather was great. Fishing was alot slower than Tuesday. We are probably heading up again in the morning.

Yahoo!, I'm glad to hear they are not extinct.[Wink] I still have some hope of some perch dinners coming out of there this winter.

I snuck up there again this afternoon too. I caught 28 bows of the usual size, but had to work for them. No luck on browns or perch, but I didn't move around much. They were a lot more fussy tonight, with many going through and not hitting at all. I don't suppose I have anything to add regarding the slush. Be prepared for it if you go up.
