Fished Holmes crosing, anvil didn't look good from up on the hill. The ice was about three inches blue and two white the white melted before the day was over. There was a wheeler out on holmes bay, he went all over, mine stayed in the trailer. We also fished the chanel beween holmees and buckboard, same ice conditions, buckboard was mostley ice wiith a hole in the midle. fishing was slow, I got skunked, vary discourageing after waiteing all year. Some people caught small macks and rainbous but no one I talked to did vary well, one guy caught a nice koke.
