fishing spots near long beach?

hi i need some new spots to fish at all i go to is belmont peir or the jettys and all i catch is bass and yellowtail croackers and one time a halibut but thats all. can u help me find new spots to fish at? thanx

Have you tried Cherry Beach?? Cabrillo Beach??

There are also plenty of places between Belmont Pier and Huntington Pier. Between Huntington and Newport.

There are plenty of places north of Belmont Pier. Have you ever tried fishing the Keys near Catalina Landing?? There are croaker in there too but when the water warms up, there is a very pleasant surface surprise there as well. Threshers!!!![cool]

I don't have exact address. I just know how to get to them.

Here is a link for all of the Piers in CA. They have addresses and tips on catching some of the local species. Some of the info is a little out of date but still works for other species.
