Save Piru Creek
#1
[green]Piru Creek is a rare paradise in Southern Ca for endangered wildlife, as well as anglers, kayakers and recreating families. Unfortunately, the California Department of Water Resources [DWR] is threatening to significantly reduce flows in the creek and destroy its year-round trout fishery.[/green]
[green]Please take action today to save Piru Creek by writing / emailing a short note to the DWR. The following link has a suggested letter/email[/green]
[green]and the DWR's email link. This is a concern for fisher people everywhere. Talking to the The Friends of the River people yesterday they said it didn't matter as to where those individuals objecting to the DRW lived just so long as the peoples voices are heard. Got a minute to spare please click this link. Thanks, Dryrod.[/green]

[cool][#0000ff]That used to be a favorite "brain broom" spot for me when I lived in Ventura County. Not many big fish, but plenty of small ones that liked to nibble on feathers.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Always a shame to lose any water to government inefficiency or development.[/#0000ff]
