fly rodding for stripers

I am headed to lake powell this weekend and was wondering if anybody has any tips for hooking up on stripers, i know its a little early in the season but hey better than work. thanks.

I would think that a 6wt. would work, but 8wt. would be the Ultimate.

Like a Polar Minnow or Kinky Mullet. There are a number of flys that have a similar look in appearance. Check your box as you might have the winning ticket.[/size][/green][/font]

thanks for the welcome and advice I starting looking through my saltwater flies and firgure they'll probably work also can't go wrong with the clouser minnow
