Fish traps

Has anyone ever succesfully built a wilderness fish trap? I've seen an "m" shaped trap, as well as a willow basket and river obstacle trap on paper, but never tried one.


Anyone?

I have never had to build one myself but they look easy. If you go to this months Fur Fish and Game magazine they have an article on a fish trap but it says that it is only legal in AK.
