redondo beach ,california pier fishing

what can i catch there and how do i catch them also which pier is best for what. I came from Georgia and have never fished the ocean before.

There are a variety of species on the Redondo Pier. You can catch anything from surf perch, California Scorpionfish, Bonita, Mackerel, Sharks,and Rays.

There are a variety of rigging to use. One of the most popular for the smaller fish is the Double drop shot or you can use the Dropper Loop.

When the Bonita and Mackerel are in, you can get them on surface irons. Sharks and rays at the bottom with sliding rigs.
