effective date is april 30,2006

summer flounder(fluke)

open season:april 30-december 31
minimum lenght:18 INCHES TOTAL LENGTH
creel limit:6fish per person per day


porgies(scup)
open season:JUNE 1 THROUGH OCTOBER 31
minimum legth 10 1/2 total inches
creel limit 25 fish per person per day(party/charter boat passangers can keep 60 fish per person per day from september1 through octobwer 31)


black sea bass
open season:YEARROUND
minimum length:12 inches total length
creel limit:25 fish per day per person

CAPITALIZED WORDS ARE THE CHANGES FROM 2005 REGS.
a public hearing will be held within the next four months to recieve comment and adopt fimal regulation regarding these changes or altteratives that have equivalent or greater conservation value.

18" fluke? seems to grow 1/2" every year. Well as long as the fish grow with it. [Wink] Come on fluke season!!
