Lake Toho
Fishing Report
by: Captain Chuck Matthews
800-936-7398

Fishing on the Kissimmee Chain has been very good this week. The afternoon rains that we are getting have helped.

On Toho, there are still a lot of fish in open water. Top water baits, small crank baits like a shad rap are doing good. Carolina rigs are also producing fish. The north end of Grassy Island, Goblet’s Cove, and the south end of the lake are good areas. Also, I have been catching fish on the inside in about one to two feet of water throwing a watermelon fluke. You can see fish looking for bait fish. Their backs are actually out of the water.

The water is still running. The canals leading into Lake Cypress and at the end going into Hatchineha have schooling fish. I have been throwing a Carolina Rig up the current and drifting it back when it stops, set the hook. Early morning and
evening fishing has been the best time to fish.

If you see a storm coming get off the water and seek shelter until it passes over. Always put safety first.

Happy Fishing,

Captain Chuck Matthews
Pro Bass Guide
A Action Bass Guide Professional Services
http://www.orlandobassfishing.com
800-936-7398

Captain Chuck Matthews 800-936-7398
