Pot O' Gold Halibut derby for Sunday, January 26

[center][/center][size 2][size 1]There were no legal halibut weighed in on Friday January 24th and a prior engagement of Whale Watching for the Cub Scouts of Troop 134 from Lakewood preempted the January 25th derby fishing .[/size]

[size 1]Here is the winner of the Pot O' Gold Halibut derby for Sunday, January 26, 2003.[/size]

[size 1]Pictured here with the big fish of the day is Oscar Garcia of El Monte, California. Oscar's fish weighed in at a respectable 13lb. 11oz. landing him a free pass and currently a spot on the March 9th fish -off for the Pot O' Gold cash prize.[/size]

[size 1]That ends our second week's competition with the weekly cash prize going to John Watkins of West Covina. John's 20lb catch on January 22nd nabbed him a cool $82 and he still holds the number 2 spot overall.[/size]
