[/center][size 2]Big halibut of the day for Thursday, January 23rd. This 25 lb. monster was landed by long time Long Beach Sportfishing handyman, Howard Bagley. Howard, a fixture at the landing since it's inception in 1973, was not eligible to participate in the tournament due to his affiliation with management, but they wanted to give this catch it's due. The free pass went to the second place finisher, Charles Stewart of Long Beach who opted to fillet his catch on the ride home.
