LIMITS THIS WEEKEND!!
What a great weekend it was for fishing down in Hopedale! On Saturday, Capt. Ben took out a group of four. This group knew how to fish as they toughed out the rough waters outside and caught their limits of Speckled Trout.
Total: 100 Specks
At the beginning of their trip, they told Capt. Ben that all he needed to do was to put them in the right fishing spot and they would do the rest. I guess they were right! On this day Capt. Ben fished outside by underwater structures and used live shrimp under a cork on 12lb. test.
On Sunday, Capt. Ben had a group of three. It was a father and his two sons. The two sons had never gone fishing with their father before nor had they ever been fishing. Well Capt. Ben got them hooked on fishing as all three caught their limits of Speckled Trout by 10:00am.
Total: 75 specks.
The two boys (college age) said that they would definitely be back fishing and this time they would bring their friends too. All the trout this day were caught on the "Blue Moon Deadly Dudley" lure, under a cork and on 12lb. test. They fished outside and by the underwater structures.
