Name the fish of the week

Each week we will have a fish of the week to identify. I will give you the scientific name, you give the common name with a description.


EXAMPLE:
Scientific Name: Thymallus Arcticus
___________________?
Size: 8-15"

DISCRIPTION:
A cold-water species, the ______________ is native to northwestern North America and northeast Asia. The few isolated native populations known from the lower 48 states are ether extirpated or are rare and endangered. _____________ spawn and feed mostly on terrestrial and aquatic insects. Slow growth in cold environments limit the size of adult fish.

I will give a description on the fol-ling Friday along with a new fish of the week.

Thymallus Arcticus is the Arctic Grayling

And like previously mentioned, Ictalurus Furcatus is a Blue Catfish.[cool]
