Michigan Kids Clay Shoot Out
Hey there everyone,
This message is to announce the 10th annual MSU special sporting clays fundraising shoot. This event is a BLAST (literally) and will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Island Lake Shooting Range in Brighton (same location as 2005). We invite you to form a five-man team OR sign up as a single shooter and be paired up with other shooters for this special charity event. You can get folks to sponsor you to represent them. If you know anyone who would like to support us and have fun busting clays please pass this on. As in year's past, the purpose of the 100 bird event is to raise money to support The Youth Education and Aquatic Stewardship Legacy; an endowment to advance youth education programs in Michigan and MSU's Project FISH.

The endowment is managed by Michigan State University's Department of Fisheries and Wildlife in partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Fisheries Division and the American Fisheries Society- Michigan Chapter. The Youth Education and Aquatic Stewardship Legacy will fund aquatic stewardship programs that allow impressionable youth to experience hands on contact with aquatic resources. It will ensure that Michigan's aquatic and natural resources will be supported by its future citizens and continue as a sustainable commodity.
