Paradise reef fishing report
#1
We hit paradise reef a couple of days ago. The fishing was great by no means. The water was actually a little rougher than it was suppose to be. It was calling for 2 to 3, but it was really 3 to 4, and they were pretty close together. So, it was a pretty rocky ride. We trolled out to the reef and made a few passes, but not even a strike. I was actually surprised, I was trolling large Drone Spoons and Williamson live ribbonfish, which I normally get atleast a few strikes on. I don't think anyone caught any kings or snagged anything trolling with in 20 miles offshore. Pretty Sad.

We caught a few black sea bass and a couple oyster toad fish before the lot of people on board began getting sea sick. A boat beside us caught a few nice sized spade fish. I was sure if I had a few jelly balls to cut up, I could have chunked my way into a few really nice spades. But, It wasn't long and I had to bring the boat back into the inlet so the sea sick ones could ease thier stomach.
