[size 1]February 1, 2003 was a lucky day for Al Spangler of Long Beach. [/size][size 1]Al also received a free pass for his efforts when he weighed in his [/size][size 1]4lb.7oz. catch. Al is also currently qualified to fish on March 9th.[/size] [center][size 1][/size][/center]

[size 1]Sunday, February 2, 2003 was notable for Tom Cash of Lake Forrest. A free [/size][size 1]pass and entry for the March 9th fish-off were his rewards for his 4 lb. 5 [/size][size 1]oz. catch. Tom was camera shy or in a hurry so he didn't wait to have his [/size][size 1]picture taken with his prize.[/size]

[size 1]Honorable Mention to Fred Ichikawa of Long Beach for his 15 lb. 11 oz. [/size][size 1]catch on February 2, 2003. Fred is a longtime landing friend and has opted [/size][size 1]not to participate in the competition because of relationship with the [/size][size 1]management. A fine catch worth mentioning anyway.[/size]
