Where can I get some good bait in the walled lake area?
I'm sick of the 1 inch wantbe minnows and 2 inch shinners from bucky's bait shop. Plus after out for an hour, 1/3 of the minnows are dead. I want some spunky minnows and 4 inch shinners FOR THE MONSTERS.

the next two closet bait shops are six lakes party store on the corner of coolie lake rd and round lake rd.
then there is K&D sporting goods on m 59 and williams lake rd. take williams lk rd to m 59 turn right and about a hundred yards on your left before you come back up on willims lake rd again.
give them a call before you go out that far to make sure they have them in stock. a lot of the tip-up guys and spear anglers like to hog up the big ones fast.
I cant afford then so I try to catch 4-5 inch perch for my tip-ups. they seem to live for days on end if not eaten by a pike.
