50 Bass on Monday
#1
My boss has a private lake outside of Rexburg, ID. I spent 9 hours there on Monday and landed over 50 bass. Total count:

1 rainbow
3 largemouth
50 rock bass

Didn't see any of the tiger muskie or 8-12 lbs 'bows in there.

My face and neck are so sunburned it's ridiculous, but boy, what a day!

Rock Bass? Kind of like your normal Bass varieties, only a lot more dense and hell on lures.

Really though, I believe it is in the Sunfish family:

[cool][#0000ff]Although there is a member of the panfish family designated as a "rock bass", that is also a generic term applied to several other members of that large family. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]In Utah, the green sunfish is often called a rock bass by goobers who don't know the difference but are willing to fight to the death when challenged on it. Those guys are some of the same ones who swear there are blue cats and flatheads in Utah Lake. Best to just Smile and let them call the fish whatever they want.[/#0000ff]
