Welcome to Colorado - Bear Creek Reservoir
#1
Just south of Morrison Rd. / Colo. 8 and East of C-470 is where you'll find Bear Creek Reservoir. Not as large as some other places but surprisingly is 205 acres with 12' maximum depth, so bottom fishing is a good possibility. You'll find large and smallmouth bass, walleye, tiger muskie, and various pan fish to name a few. Rainbow trout (catchable size are stocked). There's quite a bit of flat areas around the water so bring the family too. As of July 10th fishing reports were stocker trout remains fair, with early mornings and evenings the best times to catch a few. Use salmon eggs, worms or Power Bait. The best fishing spots are the Bear Creek inlet and the point at Pelican Point. Some larger trout have been caught on small, bright-colored spinner lures.

Dream your fish, fish your dream!

Have you ever fished there and done any good? I have only done good there once but nothing to brag about.
