Spot a good looking fishing pond, would u....
#1
Just go tubin in that pond?
Would u ask first if you knew who "owns" it?
Would u just jump in and wait until the owner comes by?
How do u ask or find the owner of that lake?
Looks like a nice fishing water right off the highway and I don't see any farm house near only a factory on one side of it. There's a bike path going on the other side of it and seems like an easy one to get in and out with a little walking to it.
There's a few around me and I have been in two of them a few times and seems "allowed" to do so. Lot of shore guys do use it but a few times I see tubers in there.
This pond I had an eye on looks more like a fine fishery water...
Today I scanned the Click here: Microsoft TerraServer Imagery and took a bike ride on the bike path that is going east and west and the lake is on the south of the map along the highway.

[cool][#0000ff]It is always a good idea to verify ownership and accessability before just launching your tube or fishing. As a general rule, if there appears to be unrestricted public access (bike path), with no closed gates or NO TRESPASSING signs, you can usually assume that it is open to the public.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Waters that are closed or restricted usually have signs posted at the corners of the fenced off property, and those signs usually list the ownership and contact numbers. Not always. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]There are many such little ponds and lakes that are overlooked by tubers and are not as fishable by bankers.[/#0000ff]
