Wrote...Fishing remains very strong, with too many 10 lb. fish to list! Several reports of 13's, many photos of 10 lb. fish. Early morning topwater produced as many as 50 fish per boat. Some boats are doing very well on the shallow flats, using worms and lizards, watermelon red, junebug and a few on watermelon seed. Bill Dance fat-free shad thrown at the end of the flats on the points and baby bass and solid white produced fish over 8 lbs. and up to 13. Russ has been fishing with swimbaits, 4, 5 and 6 inches and has also had good luck on the submerged humps and the islands. Conservatively, all boats have been catching in excess of 80 fish a day, with many boats catching over 150 of all sizes.
